On July 1, 2024, Rotary Club Palanpur City, under the leadership of Rtn. Karsanbhai Patel, launched its very first project of the Rotary Year with a heartfelt initiative — “Gau Seva” (Cow Welfare) — at Parshuram Gaushala, Palanpur.

As part of the project, 110 kilograms of jaggery (gud) were distributed to feed and nourish 45 cows, many of which were aged or differently-abled, highlighting the compassion behind this act of service.

The project witnessed the enthusiastic participation of 20 Rotarians and heartfelt support from the members of Inner Wheel Club Palanpur City, especially the women who joined in large numbers.

This initiative marks a compassionate start to the new Rotary year — reflecting the spirit of “Service Above Self” through care for all living beings.
