Plastic & Garbage Cleanup near Balaram River

On 26th July 2025, the Rotary Club Palanpur City executed a major cleanliness drive near the Balaram River. This project focused on removing plastic waste and garbage to protect the river ecosystem and ensure cleaner surroundings for both wildlife and local communities. A team of 8 Rotarians invested 8 hours of dedicated work to collect, segregate, and dispose of waste responsibly. Plastic pollution poses a significant threat to rivers and biodiversity, and this campaign highlighted the importance of proper waste management. By organizing such cleanup drives, Rotary Club aims to raise public awareness and inspire individuals to adopt eco-conscious habits. This project is a step towards achieving a cleaner, greener environment.
